“…In Poland, European huchen inhabits the Dunajec, Poprad, and San Rivers, where it is protected by a fishery supplementation and enacted rigorous fishing restrictions. Currently, there is only one fish farm situated in Lopuszna (southern Poland), which is the only existing source for European huchen stocking material in Poland (Witkowski et al 2013b). The mentioned broodstock is kept ex situ all the time, being maintained only from spawnings.…”
