The “Hierarchy of Credibility” among Economic Experts: Journalists’ Perceptions of Experts with Varying Institutional Affiliations

Abstract: Economic journalism is dependent on journalists working closely with expert sources to produce factual and nonpartisan news and analyses about economic policy.
