A dróntechnológia része lett a mindennapi életnek és asszimilálódott minden ágazatba. A drónok, vagy más néven UAV-k (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle - pilóta nélküli légi jármű) a mezőgazdaság és az ipar mellett a rendészet és rendvédelem integrált részeként jelennek meg (határvédelem, közbiztonság, tömegrendezvények felügyelete, kritikus infrastruktúrák védelme, bűnügyi felderítés, eltűnt személy kutatása, balesti helyszínelés). A drónok azon képessége, hogy pilóta nélküli felderítést tesznek lehetővé, így az emberi egészség és élet védelmét szolgálják, felbecsülhetetlenné teszik őket. Ugyanakkor éppen sokoldalúságuk miatt rendvédelmi kockázatot is jelentenek, ugyanis előnyös tulajdonságaikat nem csak a rendvédelmi szervek aknázhatják ki. A jelenlegi kutatások és szakirodalom jellemzően vagy a drónok rendvédelmi hasznosságát, vagy biztonságtechnikai kockázatukat vizsgálja. Ugyanakkor ahhoz, hogy a drónok fejlesztése a jogszabályalkotás, a vonatkozó biztonságtechnikai protokoll megfelelő irányba fejlődhessen, elengedhetetlen e két nézőpont együttes vizsgálata. Jelen cél integráltan vizsgálni a drónok biztonságtechnikai szerepét, majd az általuk jelentett biztonságtechnikai kockázatok vizsgálata után a konklúziók, illetve javaslattételek megfogalmazása.

Herein, a twin-boom, inverted V-tailed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) featuring a foldable bi-wing configuration is proposed for logistics and transportation applications. We employed the Navier–Stokes solver to numerically simulate steady, incompressible flow conditions. By examining the effects of key design parameters on aerodynamic characteristics and bypass flow fields in a two-dimensional state, we were able to suggest a more optimized foldable wing design. Building on the two-dimensional analysis, we performed aerodynamic assessments of the three-dimensional aircraft geometry. Our results indicated that appropriate wing and gap parameters can significantly enhance lift characteristics, maintaining high lift even during large-angle flights. Specifically, when compared to a mono-wing, the lift coefficient of the bi-wing increased by 27.1% at a 14° angle of attack, demonstrating the effectiveness of our wing-and-gap design. Optimal aerodynamic performance was achieved when the gap distance equalled the chord length in both flow and vertical directions. Further, the right combination of airfoil configuration, wing axes angle, and wingspan can improve flow field aerodynamic characteristics, while also enhancing the wing’s stall capacity. The lift coefficient reached its maximum value at an angle of attack of 15°, which has the potential to reduce takeoff and landing distances, thereby enhancing the UAV’s overall safety.

The global drone market, according to the reports of Drone Industry Insight, amounted to ∼USD 14.1 billion in 2018 with the prospect of growth by almost 3 times in 2025 [10]; such growth is expected despite pandemic issues. Just to give an overview, in the USA, there were 1.32 million UAS registered for leisure purposes and 0.385 million for professional applications in 2019, and these numbers are expected to increase by 12% to 1.48 million for the former applications and 115% up to 0.83 million for the latter in 2024 [11,12].…”

In the last decade, the drone market has grown rapidly for both civil and military purposes. Due to their versatility, the demand for drones is constantly increasing, with several industrial players joining the venture to transfer urban mobility to the air. This has exacerbated the problem of noise pollution, mainly due to the relatively lower altitude of these vehicles and the proximity of their routes to extremely densely populated areas. In particular, both the aerodynamic and aeroacoustic optimization of the propulsive system and of its interaction with the airframe are key aspects of unmanned aerial vehicle design that can signify the success or the failure of their mission. The industrial challenge involves finding the best performance in terms of loading, efficiency and weight, and, at the same time, the most silent configuration. For these reasons, research has focused on an initial localization of the noise sources and, on further analysis, of the noise generation mechanism, focusing particularly on directivity and scattering. The aim of the present study is to review the noise source mechanisms and the state-of-the-art control strategies, available in the literature, for its suppression, focusing especially on the fluid-dynamic aspects of low Reynolds numbers of the propulsive system and on the interaction of the propulsive system flow with the airframe.
