The geometrical basis of arithmetical knowledge: Frege & Dehaene

Abstract: Frege writes in Numbers and Arithmetic about kindergarten-numbers and "an a priori mode of cognition" that they may have "a geometrical source." This resembles recent findings on arithmetical cognition.
