Abstract:Two species of the <i>Selaginella</i> genus were noted in Poland up to date, i.e. <i>S. selaginoides</i> and <i>S. helvetica</i>. The first species occurs in the Western Carpathians and the Western Sudetes, however, its Sudeten sites were less numerous than previously reported.
