The genus Ipomoea (Convolvulaceae) in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil

Abstract: Melastomataceae are the tenth most diverse angiosperm family in the world and the sixth largest angiosperm family in Brazil. Among the ecosystems associated with the Atlantic Forest, restinga comprises different phytophysiognomies where this family is a conspicuous element.
