Denise C. Wawman,
George Candelin

Abstract: We present a genome assembly from an individual female Crataerina pallida (the Swift Louse Fly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Hippoboscidae). The genome sequence is 177.0 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 21.57 kilobases in length.
