This article presents an overview of ChatGPT, and it highlights the current state of this technology for the medical field. The article seeks to provide a balanced perspective on what the model can and cannot do in three specific domains: clinical practice, research, and medical education. It also provides suggestions on how to optimize the use of this tool.
