The gendered occupational value of a U.S. education for skilled Indian immigrants

Abstract: Gender and nativity remain important axes of stratification in the U.S. labour market. Women and immigrants continue to trail native-born men in earnings and occupational status, and the promise of a college education still falls short in overcoming this gender and nativity gap.
