The Future Demands of Education in Fijian Classrooms

Abstract: :-The education system in Fiji by far constitutes the punitive approaches of teaching using chalk and blackboard and is usually teacher-centered. The Ministry of Education is continuously pressing on the need to incorporate innovation in the teaching pedagogies and shifting from teacher-centered to student-centered. Education for the future will have to change. Some secondary schools have switched to teaching using whiteboards, interactive boards and even the social media and internet.
