Abstract:The electron spin resonance spectrum of Cu2+ in NH,F was observed between 77 and 300K. No evidence was found of a iL transition in NH,F. The spin Hamiltonian parameters at 7 7 K were gx = 2.0771, gy = 2,1040 and gz = 2.4702 with the hyperfine parameters all less than 4 x cm-'. These parameters suggest that Cu" is in a tetrahedral site. Expressions obtained for the possible ground states suggest that the E" (B,) state is lowest.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
