“…Sofrito preparation, legume, chicken are less expensive than wine fish, nuts and meat so women tend to consume less expensive products in case of food insecurity and economic crisis and put aside their needs on the expense of prioritizing the health needs of their children and husbands (Pan et al , 2009), which is reflected in higher adherence among men.
