“…Thus, our new finding does not affect the overall picture of the high abundance of tropical elements in the Bitterfeld and Rovno amber forests versus Baltic amber forest as predicted by Wolfe et al (2016) and Mänd et al (2018), and supported faunistically not only by assessment of the amber faunas of ants, bethylids and biting midges (Perkovsky, 2016(Perkovsky, , 2017(Perkovsky, , 2018Radchenko & Perkovsky, 2021;Colombo et al, 2021с), but also newly unveiled, abundant Rovno amber records of the thermophile beetles, hymenopterans and termites (Legalov et al, 2018;Perkovsky et al, 2020;Sokolov & Perkovsky, 2020;Colombo et al, 2021 a, b;Perkovsky & Nel, 2021;Matalin et al, 2021, Yamamoto et al, 2022.…”

“…and "Carcinops") and one specimen belonging to Histerinae ("Platysoma"). This more or less credible and brief information was repeated later without any significant additions (Spahr, 1981), and the data have been partially supported or supplemented only within the last decade (Alekseev, 2016;Sokolov and Perkovsky, 2020;Alekseev and Bukejs, 2021).…”

“…Beetles from Rovno amber are understudied ; only 60 species, 51 genera from 21 families have been reported so far Bukejs, Legalov, 2020;Sokolov, Perkovsky, 2020;Legalov et al, 2021). In this paper we add to Rovno amber coleopterofauna a new species, genus and family.…”

“…Better studied Rovno hymenopterofauna includes 135 species, 66 of which are known from Baltic amber (Radchenko, Perkovsky, 2020;Simutnik et al, 2020); for Rovno coleopterofauna the share of Baltic species is only 13% (Bellés, Perkovsky, 2016;Jałoszynski, Perkovsky, 2016Nadein et al, 2016;Nazarenko, Perkovsky, 2016;Perkovsky, 2016;Tshernyshev, 2016;Bogri et al, 2018;Bukejs et al, 2018Legalov et al, 2018Legalov et al, , 2019Petrov, Perkovsky, 2018;Bukejs, Legalov, 2019a, b, 2020Kupryjanowicz et al, 2019;Kazantsev, Perkovsky, 2020;Kypke, Solodovnikov, 2020;Lyubarsky, Perkovsky, 2020;Sokolov, Perkovsky, 2020;this paper).…”
