täts-und Farbbestimmungen, durchgeführt an 3,2 mm dicken, nassen, glatten Querschnitten aus dem Stamm, über einem Lichtkasten ausgewertet. Charakteristische Merkmale, die für die Druckholzentwicklung typisch sind, wie Rohdichte an extrahiertem Holz, Tracheidenlänge und Häufigkeit der Spiral-Rißbildung der Tracheidenwände wurden bestimmt. Diese Untersuchung kann nur als Erkundung betrachtet werden, da nur 8 Bäume aufgrund der Geradschaftigkeit ihrer Stämme als Vertreter für den Bereich einer möglichen Druckholzentwicklung ausgewählt wurden.Es wurde gefunden, daß im Gegensatz zu den allgemeinen Angaben in der Literatur die Rohdichte bezogen auf den ganzen Jahrring (von n-jähriger Weihrauchkiefer, Durchschnittshöhe 16,5 m) nicht in Beziehung zur Druckholzentwicklung steht. Ein annähernd linearer Abfall der Spätholzrohdichte zeigte sich mit zunehmender Intensität der Druckholzentwicklung. Die Tracheidenlänge von Normalholz war größer als die von Druckholz und wies eine umgekehrte Beziehung zur Druckholzintensität bei Frühholz, Spät-holz und den Werten vom gesamten Jahrring auf. Der Prozentsatz an Tracheiden, der von der spiraligen Riß-bildung betroffen war, wies eine positive lineare Beziehung bei steigender Intensität der Druckholzentwicklung auf. Die Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung bestätigen, daß eine qualitative Klassifikation von Druckholz, gemessen auf der Basis der relativen Opazität, mit Hilfe eines Lichtkastens ausgeführt werden kann und auch gültige Werte ergibt. Sie bestätigten außerdem, daß wenig oder im Anfangsstadium befindliches Druckholz, auf das bekanntlich beträchtliche Mengen vom gesamten Stammvolumen bei den südlichen Kiefernarten entfallen, in geringerem Maße dieselbe Tracheidenmorphologie und dieselben Rohdichtemerkmale wie die stärkeren Formen von Druckholz besitzt. Die Verwendung des Lichtkastens ermöglichte schließlich, drei leicht erkennbare Stadien des Druckholzes vom Normalholz abzugrenzen. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu "Przełomy, odrodzenia i upadki" w Długoszowej wizji dziejów ojczystych Zarys treści: Autor stara się zrekonstruować "przełomy, odrodzenia i upadki" w Rocznikach Jana Długosza. Wprawdzie kronikarz nie określił, co dla niego było przełomowe w dziejach ojczystych, ale wydaje się, że można podjąć próbę zdefi niowania tego, śledząc narrację dzieła oraz posiłkując się wiedzą o Długoszowej metodzie pisarskiej i sposobie myślenia. Konieczna jest także refl eksja dotycząca tego, że kronikarska siatka pojęciowa nie wychodziła poza schemat średniowieczny, dlatego trudno oczekiwać od niego ocen lub propozycji zgodnych ze współczesnym rozumieniem poszczególnych problemów. Th e content outline: Th e author seeks to reconstruct "breakthroughs, revivals, and collapses" in Th e Annals of Jan Długosz. Although the chronicler did not specify turning points in the history of Poland, but it seems to be possible to fi nd these breakthrough events by analysing the narrative and referring to the knowledge about Długosz's writing method and way of thinking. It is also necessary to remember that the chronicle's conceptual framework did not extend beyond a medieval mental frame, and for this reason it is diffi cult to expect him to formulate opinions and ideas corresponding to the contemporary understanding of individual problems.
