The Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Constructions Experimental Research

Abstract: The article proves the efficiency of the construction-based use of fibre concrete. The technique of high-quality fine-grained fibre concrete creation is presented. The chemical composition of the binder was studied and the physical and mechanical characteristics of the filler were revealed. 2 types of steel fibers were studied: anchor and in the form of a fir-tree. The conducted studies proved the effectiveness of dispersed reinforcement with steel fiber. It is established, that the usage of fiber in the form … Show more

“…According to the provisions of geomimetics science on the affinity of structures proposed by Lesovik [32], for designing an optimal composite, it is necessary that its components have the same linear expansion coefficients, deformation characteristics, adhesive characteristics, etc. Therefore, taking into account the genesis of the raw materials, it is possible to form a composite structure of a given quality [33]. Table 4 lists the deformative characteristics of quartz sandstone, allowing its use for aggregate in heavyweight concrete.…”

“…High-strength concrete is concrete with high mechanical properties; it has very high strength (compression more than 150 MPa, tensile more than 8 MPa). Dispersed reinforcement is also used in producing of the high-strength concrete [13]. Such concrete is more durable and longeval, has increased resistance to various chemicals and to freeze-thaw cycles.…”

“…The small diameter of the fiber contributes to the rapid destruction of fiber. Fiber can be protected by using sheet steel fiber obtained at high manufacturing temperatures or with anti-corrosion coatings [13,[18][19][20].…”
