The Fermilab Booster as a Kaon Factory

Abstract: We review the performance of the Fermilab rapid-cycling Booster emphasizing those a spec ts which allow acceleration of up to 4. 5 x 1013 protons per second to energies of 8 to 10 GeV. Characteristics of a kaon factory based on this machine will be discussed.
