The F_H(H⁻) Center Energy Parameters and the Nature of the F Center Unrelaxed Ground State in KCl

Abstract

The FH(H-) Center Energy Parameters and the Nature of the F Center Unrelaxed Ground State in KC1 BY V. N. SALOMATOV (a), N. N. KRISTOFFEL (b), and T. A. PARFIANOVICH (a)The FH(H-) center energy parameters in KC1 are calculated within the framework of the perturbation theory. A comparison of theoretical and experimental results leads to the follouing conclusion: the F center unrelaxed ground state as well as the relaxed excited state has a, diffuse spatial distribution. A possibility to identify the F center unrelaxed ground state-conduction band transition by the picosecond laser spectroscopy, is mentioned.
