The evolution of medical resident training and healthcare delivery: Good riddance to the “July effect”

Abstract: Key Points The present observational study from the National Inpatient Sample found no evidence of a “July effect” associated with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in‐hospital mortality rates in teaching hospitals.
