The Evolution of China’s High‐Level Talent Mobility Network: A Comparative Analysis Based on School and Work Stage

Abstract: The flow of high-level talents in China is becoming more and more active and has a profound impact on the innovation and development of cities. Based on the research on the spatial distribution of the school and work stages of high-level talent in China, we study the structure and evolution of China’s high-level talent mobility network by using the data on the flow trajectory of talent among cities in China. The results show that: (1) the spatial distribution of talents in the two stages has greater consistenc… Show more

“…Therefore, in order to satisfy their vanity and personal pleasures, and to compare with their classmates, many students have led to rush to buy luxury goods, making the consumer group of high school students high. [3] The impact of massive information, coupled with the fact that high school students' own values are not fully formed, is easily affected by the main negative consumption values such as money worship, utilitarianism and interest supremacy. [2]At the same time, many parents now spoil their children too much and give them excessive living expenses, so that students can consume unrestrainedly, which will also make them feel that it is easy to make money and will not know how to manage money.…”

“…For example, Shi et al (2020), Wang et al (2020), and Jin et al (2021) measured the overall characteristics of the talent flow network by using network density, average clustering coefficient [35][36][37], etc. Shi et al (2020) and Zhang et al (2022) took advantage of degree centrality, betweenness centrality, and other indicators [35,38] to reveal the network structure and essential nodes. Based on the online database for the International Migration Statistics (IMS), Tranos et al (2015) used the annual migration flow data of 32 OECD countries from 2000 to 2009 [39], thus exploring the importance of physical and cultural proximity to migration.…”

“…As human society has entered an era of knowledge economy, now the economic activities have transcended borders, and world countries and regions have formulated various talent introduction policies to compete for high-class talents [1][2][3][4][5]. Via researching and sorting out these high-class talent introduction policies, we can better understand the changing features of student training modes of colleges and universities under the intervention of these policies [6][7][8][9][10][11], predict and analyze the optimization direction of the student training view of these schools to cope with the development trend of regional economy, thereby enriching the regional policies for introducing high-class talents and improving the decision-making level of high-class talent introduction, therefore, it is of certain value to research the training mode and quality view of high-class talents under the intervention of talent introduction policy [12][13][14]. Building a sound system for assessing the training quality of high-class talents with talent introduction as the target is helpful for effectively analyzing the training mode of high-class talents in colleges and universities and discovering the underlying problems and weak links, thereby further optimizing the current mode, and improving the training level of highclass talents in the region.…”
