THE EVALUATION OF SELECTED BIOACTIVITIES OF FUNGAL MYCELIUM OF A WILD Schizophyllum commune Fr. FROM SUBMERGED CULTURES

Abstract: Schizophyllum commune is a widely distributed macrofungal species assorted with bioactivities. The specific objectives were evaluation of antibacterial and antioxidant properties, synthesis of exopolysaccharides and carbohydrates contents estimation of mycelial extract of S. commune under submerged condition.
