The Establishment of a Theoretical Model for the Estimation of Some Photo-Physical Processes in Laser Dyes

Abstract: In this study, a new theoretical method for the estimation of absorption and fluorescence spectra is accomplished. These estimations were established following experimental measurements of absorption and fluorescence spectra for the solutions of fluorescein laser dye mixed with titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticlesin distilled water. The used concentration of fluorescein dye was 1x10-5 M, whereas the masses of titanium dioxide nanoparticles were 0.0003g, 0.0005g, 0.001g and 0.002g. An absorption spectra improv… Show more

“…To provide theoretical support for the experimental method, to determine whether the method can be applied to other compounds, and to prove the ability of the system before running it, software is applied to ensure the similarity between the theoretical and practical spectra; a fitting equation is applied for these samples using model software. Numerous research studies are carried out in this field, assessing the theoretical model and experimental results 17,18 . This study depended on the Logistic Power Peak (LPP) function, and they recorded high matching between theoretical and experimental measurements.…”

“…This study depended on the Logistic Power Peak (LPP) function, and they recorded high matching between theoretical and experimental measurements. Moreover, Al-Arab et al 18 studied a theoretical model to evaluate some photo-physical processes in titanium dioxide nanoparticles that were mixed with fluorescein dye and evaluated depending on the experimental fluorescence spectra measurements. They stated that the model matched the experimental measurements because it was based on curve fitting using the Logistic Power Peak function.…”

“…As a result, it has many applications in different fields of technology and science especially with low concentrations factor because it leads to reduce the cost, energy and waste [13,14]. Daway et al (2014) [15] investigated the use of the lognormal function to determine the negative chromatic dispersion curves in a highly dispersive dual-concentric core pure silica photonic crystal fiber (PCF). This investigation depends on a simulation process for the experimental results which were recorded by the plane wave expansion (PWE) method.…”
