The EORTC quality of life questionnaire for patients with colorectal cancer: EORTC QLQ-CR29 validation study for Spanish patients

Abstract: The EORTC QLQ-CR29 is a reliable and valid instrument when applied to a sample of Spanish rectal cancer patients. These results are in line with those of the EORTC validation study.

Of note, in the studies by Arraras et al[5], Nowak et al[8] and Arraras Urdaniz et al[24], Cronbach’s α coefficients below 0.7 were also obtained for the abdominal pain and blood and mucus in the stool dimensions.
