“…Effectively, we have demonstrated previously that pain scale had a significant relationship in our series with the risk of low global QoL (R 2 = 0.33; odds ratio = 1.03; 95% confidence interval, 1.02-1.05). 8 Effectively, patients who completed the second questionnaire had better QoL than those who did not. In any case, these data reinforce using shorter schemes of radiotherapy in all palliative patients with bone metastasis and especially in those with lesser life expectance.…”

“…The primary outcome was global health status/QOL (global QOL) as reported by patients, assessed by using the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 15 Palliative (EORTC QLQ-C-15-PAL) Arraras et al, 2014;Echteld et al, 2006). A global QOL score of 100 indicates the best possible QOL.…”

“…This development process secures that studies may compare their results obtained from the QLQ C15-PAL with studies using the original QLQ-C30 questionnaire [3]. In addition, the QLQ-C15-PAL has been successfully validated and translated in several countries [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14], including Spanish-speaking countries [15,16].…”
