The enteric nervous system in PD: gateway, bystander victim, or source of solutions

Abstract: Apart from the characteristic and progressive motor- and movement-related problems, Parkinson's disease (PD) patients also suffer from several non-motor symptoms, including gastrointestinal dysfunction.
