This short writing aims at revealing the meaning and values of pemaliq expressions that can be applied in managing and controlling life. As an effort to uncover the meaning and value of pemaliq, this study employed anthropological linguistic theory grounded in the view that pemaliq is a cultural source and as a practice of speaking. To collect the data needed, this study applied observation method to the participants of this study and in-depth interview. The data gathered were then analysed by applying ethnographic methods namely domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, component analysis, and analysis of cultural themes. The results of the analysis show that pemaliq is practiced by the Sasak Bayan community in North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia in the forest and mountain environment, namely pemaliq in the realm of the okat 'words or spoken' and pemaliq in the realm of pegawean 'action'. Pemaliq okat 'word or spoken' is shown in the form of the phrase menggoaq bangsa "mentioning caste" and ngaranin sesato 'naming animals'. Meanwhile, pemaliq pegawean 'action' is realized in the form of phrases and words those are merebang kayuq 'cutting down trees', membait kayuq 'taking the woods' and nyelonong 'without permission. The production and the use of these pemaliq represent values that can be applied in human life such as (1) respect; (2) alert; (3) polite; (4) humble; (5) tolerant; (6) responsible; (7) not greedy; (8) care of the environment; (9) awareness; (10) wisdom; (11) critical knowledge; and (12) thankful.

Wetu Telu culture is an indigenous culture of the Sasak tribe which is acculturation of Javanese, Balinese, and Islamic cultures. In religious practice, they are immersed in customs. According to Islam, WetuTelu culture is considered as an incomplete Islamic religion. But until now, the Wetu Telu culture still exists with its customs. This is an interesting phenomenon to be studied as a material for the dissertation "The Didactic Strategy of Wetu Telu Cultural Heritage on Sasak Tribe in Lembuak and Nyurlembang Village, Narmada Sub-district". This research used 3 theories; (1) cultural adaptation theory, to solve the first problem, (2) behaviorism theory, to solve the second problem, and (3) structural functionalism theory to solve the third problem. The data were in the form of qualitative data. They were collected by using: observation, interview, document study, and literature study. The findings of this study are The forms of the Wetu Telu culture which are still maintained today consist of ceremonies namely; Ritual life (gawe urip), Death Ritual (gawe pati), Art. Second, the strategy used to maintain the Wetu Telu culture is the Didactic Strategy of Cultural Heritage through Formal Education (social inquiry and expository), Informal (exemplary, habituation and advice) and Non-formal (Life skills education, youth education and women's empowerment education) Third, the implications towards the community: strengthening religious knowledge, increasing relations of social solidarity, creating inter-religious harmony.

The handling of some chemical substances, as is the case of Mercury used in the determination of the contraction characteristics of soils, becomes dangerous waste at the end of the test process, which requires an adequate management having as a reference the established measures in the legislation and complying with the legal and applicable requirements in this matter. In the present work the characteristics of the mercury, the measures for its use, transportation, and/or storage, as well as the risks to the occupationally exposed workers, are related in the Laboratories of the Applied Research Company. The objective of this research is to raise the culture in the procedures for the handling of chemical substances and hazardous waste, in the use and care of the means of individual protection, as well as compliance with everything established in the procedures for the realization of activities related to the use of mercury to form an environmental awareness focused on achieving an excellent quality of life in the workplace and contribute to the protection of the environment.
