Abstract:The Wnt signaling pathway is a huge network governing development and homeostasis, dysregulation of which is associated with a myriad of human diseases. The Frizzled receptor (FZD) family comprises receptors for Wnt ligands, which indispensably mediate Wnt signaling jointly with a variety of co‐receptors. Studies of FZDs have revealed that 10 FZD subtypes play diverse roles in physiological processes.
