Interactive whiteboards are provided in most schools in Oman, including those in the Al-Batinah North Governorate of the Sultanate, but many are not activated. Some teachers abandon them despite their presence and prefer to use the traditional blackboard or whiteboard for teaching. This study reveals the views of physics teachers in the Al Batinah North Governorate about the use of the interactive whiteboard for teaching physics. This study adopts a descriptive approach to collecting data from 377 male and female physics teachers, undertaken in the second semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. Statistical analysis shows that the teachers’ responses to the tool were positive and profound, and there were no significant differences in their views about the effectiveness of using interactive whiteboards for teaching due to the variables of gender, educational qualification, or years of experience. This result is satisfactory because of the similarity of the job environment for all members of the sample, which leads to the absence of a difference in the viewpoints of male and female teachers. In light of the results, the study recommends holding workshops and training courses for teachers to develop their skills in using the interactive whiteboard in teaching and conducting similar studies in other provinces with larger samples to generalize the results. This study investigates Jordanian EFL teachers' perspectives on the impact of Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) technology on word identification enhancement. Drawing on the theory of Multimedia Learning, the research aims to address a gap in the literature regarding EFL educators' perceptions of using IWBs to improve word identification skills. A cross-sectional survey was administered to 124 Jordanian EFL teachers, and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. The findings reveal positive attitudes among Jordanian EFL teachers towards the efficacy of IWB technology in enhancing word identification. Participants overwhelmingly support the favorable use of IWBs and recognize their potential to enhance word identification skills. Importantly, no significant differences were found across demographic variables, suggesting a consistent recognition of IWB efficacy irrespective of gender, age, academic degree, or years of experience. The results underscore the importance of integrating IWB technology into EFL classrooms and highlight the need for further exploration of pedagogical approaches to maximize its benefits. This study contributes to the literature by providing insights into the perceptions of Jordanian EFL teachers regarding IWB technology and its role in word identification enhancement. It advocates for the continued utilization and exploration of IWB technology to enhance language teaching and learning practices.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the students' attitudes towards using interactive whiteboard in mathematics classrooms in the middle and high school. The IWB survey was used to measure students' attitudes. The research sampling consisted of 112 students in middle schools and 231 students in high schools in Balikesir in Turkey. The structural validity of scale was tested through confirmatory factor analysis. The reliability of the scales was tested through Cronbach`s Alpha Coefficient. The item discrimination of the scales was calculated through the corrected item total correlation and a comparison between the top and bottom 27% groups. The results of analysis show that students have positive attitude towards the use of IWB. Also, t-test method was used to test whether students` attitudes differ in terms of gender, school type and mathematics achievement
