The efficiency of solvent‐free catalyst systems in the synthesis of tritium‐labelled biologically active compounds

Abstract: Modern theories about the processes that take place inside solvent‐free catalyst systems are considered and the various factors that have an effect on the successful introduction of tritium into organic compounds are summarized. Obtaining labelled compounds using solvent‐free catalyst systems, liquid‐phase methods, and isotopic exchange with tritiated water are all regarded as various manifestations of the same set of occurrences in the presence of tritium, a substrate and a catalyst. The use of various isotop… Show more

“…The hydrogen−deuterium exchange of L-lactide at 120 °C in the presence of the Pd/CaCO 3 catalyst resulted in incomplete deuterium incorporation ( Figure 17 ), but occurred without epimerization. Additionally, the reaction conditions were suitable for the tritium incorporation [ 70 ].…”

“…Проблема разработки дизайна получения меченных изотопами водорода биологически активных соединений всегда является важной для их синтеза [1][2][3]. Как правило, для этих целей используются ненасыщенные предшественники и оптимизируются условия гидрирования.…”

“…If the contact of molecules of such compounds with the support makes it possible for activated hydrogen particles to efficiently interact with the substrate, labeled preparations with high molar radioactivity can be obtained [1]. If the charges that appear on polar groups or steric factors related to the structure of these compounds hinder the active hydrogen spillover, labeling occurs only under very severe conditions [1].…”
