The efficacy of Tai Chi Chuan in older adults: a systematic review

Abstract: There is limited evidence that TCC is effective in reducing falls and blood pressure in the elderly.

Various studies have classified Tai Chi Chuan as a moderate intensity physical activity, since 60% of the maximal heart rate is reached, along with 55% of the maximal oxygen uptake (14,16) .
