The Efficacy of Medical Expulsion Therapy in Distal Ureteric Calculi

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of tamsulosin in the treatment of distal ureteric calculi. Materials and Methods: Forty patients, who meet the in­clusion criteria, were selected for the prospective study. All these patients re­ceived tamsulosin 0.4 mg once before bed time for fourteen days to observe the effectiveness, side effects and stone expulsion rate.
