Abstract:Most wood properties are affected by changes in moisture content below the wood fiber saturation point. In this study, the thickness swelling ratios of laminated veneer lumber (LVL) produced from Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) bonded by using polyvinyl acetate (PVAc), polymeric diphenyl methane diisocyanate (pMDI), and a mixture of them were evaluated.
