The objective of this review was to analyze the role of ecotourism in Peru, emphasizing the benefits it brings to the ecological and cultural diversity of the villages in which it is developed, its current situation after the COVID-19 pandemic, and its prospects. Therefore, a bibliometric search was carried out in the Scopus and Scielo databases, which allowed the selection of articles that were analyzed in detail. The corresponding analysis determined that ecotourism has brought social and economic benefits to Peru and encourages environmental care and conservation of species and human cultures. Likewise, after the COVID-19 pandemic, ecotourism has gained the interest of tourists, so its recovery is favorable; however, the challenges caused by the presence of human beings, such as environmental pollution and its impact on animal species, must be overcome.

Ecotourism is a sort of activity where people spend time in natural settings, have fun, and take in the natural wonders. The ability to promote social and cultural calm is one of the most significant qualities of natural beauty. This research was done to find out how many individuals visited Giresun's ecotourism destinations between 2018 and 2021, when the covid 19 epidemic was active. There had been a decline in the number of visitors to the area, particularly in 2020. The Provincial Directorate of Tourism registers visitors to Giresun Province at the city's entrance. The presence of tourism agencies makes it simple to identify both domestic and foreign tourists. While there were 182313 tourists in 2018, there will only be 105064 in 2020. In just two years, there were 77249 fewer tourists. Local tourists have been found to favor ecotourism destinations because they offer clean air and a comfortable way of life despite pandemic restrictions. Domestic travelers who traveled to the rural Giresun province stayed in ecotourism areas. Although there are many ecotourism destinations in our province, it is clear that many visitors are leaving for the neighboring provinces due to a lack of infrastructure, transportation options, and lodging options.

With the increasing diversity of social groups, public service facilities need to meet the diverse needs of different groups. However, there is still a lack of in-depth research evaluating urban public service facilities for diverse groups. Therefore, this paper use Kernel density spatial analysis method to delimits the research area based on data on the temporal and spatial behavior of islanders and tourists, and use urban network analysis (UNA) method to evaluates the public service facilities of the spatially overlapping area from the aspects of facility accessibility and availability. The study shows that (1) the spatial dislocation between facilities and residential places is serious, which leads to redundant construction or a lack of configuration of facilities in some areas. (2) The public service facilities in some areas can be used by tourists and residents to a similar degree, the number of facilities accessible to residents and tourists within a certain distance is not much different, and the configuration of facilities is relatively reasonable. (3) The overall configuration of infrastructure is biased toward residents, but the configuration of facilities in some areas can also reflect group fairness. The results indicate that the public facilities have a tendency to serve residents, and the results can give some suggestions for public facilities configuration to build a human-oriented island.
