Abstract: ObjectivesRudeness exposure has been shown to inhibit diagnostic performance. The effects of rudeness on challenging a handed-off diagnostic error has not been studied.MethodsThis was a randomized controlled study of attending, fellow, and resident physicians in a tertiary care pediatric ICU.
