Abstract:In this study, we investigate the effects of partition in a cavity on heat flux in a hypersonic ramp flow by carrying out both CFD and experiment. The experiment was conducted at M=8.1 at the shock tunnel of Nagoya University. It is found from results that the separation region becomes larger by installing a partition inside the cavity.
