With the rapid development of 5G network and information technology, the means of modern multimedia are becoming more and more perfect. Many enterprises and industry organizations have entered the information age, and the field of higher education cannot lag behind because of its practical importance of training talents. The major of Chinese language and literature has a great influence on the development of the country’s soft power. The current teaching mode is backward and old-fashioned, paying more attention to the examination-oriented education of theoretical knowledge, and the practical training of comprehensive quality is still insufficient. This paper plans to design an intelligent classroom teaching system. Under the intelligent control of multimedia, the system can assist teachers to formulate flexible and rich teaching programs of Chinese language and literature. Finally, the weight distribution of the teaching evaluation system designed in this paper is reasonable, and the material library of the system is set up scientifically and comprehensively. After several groups of simulation verification, the improved teaching scheme helped the students who participated in the experiment to improve their academic performance by nearly 30 points. While maintaining the interest in Chinese language, the accuracy of spam article recognition algorithm is more than 85%, and the highest result can reach 94.5%.

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of smart board use on academic achievement. For this purpose, mixed method where quantitative and qualitative methods are combined is used. In the quantitative phase of the research, 47 experimental studies examining the effect of smart board use on academic achievement, which were accessed by the literature review and conformed to the inclusion criteria determined by the researcher, were analyzed according to random effects model using meta-analysis method. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the effect size of smart board use on academic achievement was positive, large, and significant (ES(d) = .94, p ˂ .05). The calculated effect size does not differ according to the type of publication, school level, and field of science (course), publication year, sample size and duration of experiment implementation. The data collected in the qualitative phase of the research were analyzed using descriptive and content analysis methods. The following results were obtained under the theme of the positive aspects of smart board use: "it provides permanent learning", "supports visual and auditory learning", "makes topics more concrete". The following results were obtained under the theme of the negative aspects of smart board use: "teachers' inability to use the smart board leads to a waste of time and disrupt the course", "teachers can be overshadowed by the smart board", "smart board makes the student and teacher lazy, and they get used to smart board doing everything". The following results were obtained under the theme of suggestions: "teachers should be trained on smart board use", "different functions should be used besides presentation (video, sound, educational game, animation etc.)", "smart boards should not be used all the time, only when necessary".

The paper is devoted to analysing the use of whiteboards in maritime education and training of cadets of the ship engineering department. This research highlights the benefits of incorporating interactive whiteboards into maritime education and provides practical recommendations for educators aiming to enhance environmental awareness among future maritime professionals. Whiteboards provide a promising way to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. This ensures cadets are equipped with the essential skills and awareness needed to navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving maritime industry while prioritising environmental sustainability. The findings demonstrate a significant improvement in cadets' understanding of environmental concepts and their ability to apply sustainable practices in real-world maritime scenarios. Cadets expressed higher levels of engagement and motivation when learning through interactive whiteboards, citing the dynamic and immersive nature of the technology as a contributing factor. Moreover, faculty members reported enhanced teaching capabilities and the ability to address individual learning needs effectively. This work highlights the potential of using whiteboards (e.g. Whiteboard.fi, Miro) to enhance environmental awareness. It suggests further research to explore its effectiveness in other educational contexts.
