Liang et al (2002) Fish Physiol Biochem (2011 declared that the effect of starvation on liver LPL mRNA expression was correlated with the lipid content of feed fed before starvation, that was when fed a standard commercial diet, liver LPL mRNA expression level in the 48-h-starved Pagrosomus major was strikingly higher (by 40 times) than those overeating ones, whereas when fed a high-fat diet, the 48-h starvation imposed no significant influence upon liver LPL gene expression level. In our research, the diet (before starvation began) was a standard commercial diet, the changing of LPL mRNA expression in liver is consistent with these results.…”
