The Effects of Entrepreneurial Context on Entrepreneurial Cognition

Abstract: In this paper, through the empirical study on the start-ups in Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone, we examine how entrepreneurial context influences entrepreneurial cognition. We identify entrepreneurial context in three dimensions, i.e., the guided, the motivated and the supported context. We find that each kind of entrepreneurial exerts a positive effect on entrepreneurial cognition.
