Abstract: Pozzolanic additions form the cornerstone of the strongest and longest-lasting concrete mix designs. By-products including metakaolin, fly ash, silica fume, rice husk ash, and other naturally occurring materials like volcanic ash and pumice are examples of pozzolanic materials.
