Abstract: Ischemia/reperfusion (IR) induced ovarian damage is caused by various diseases such as ovarian torsion, ovarian transplantation, cardiovascular surgery, sepsis, or intra-abdominal surgery. I/R-related oxidative damage can impair ovarian functions, from oocyte maturation to fertilization.
