The effects of bioactive components in Solanum nigrum against oxidative stress in liver damage

Abstract: The present study aimed to evaluate the role of bioactive components in Solanum nigrum fruit, its phytochemical screening, and in vivo antioxidant potential against liver injury. The HPLC analysis of an ethanolic extract of Solanum nigrum fruit revealed the presence of bioactive components that showed its significant in vitro antioxidant activity.
