The effects of beta‐adrenoceptor blockade on breathing during progressive exercise in normal man.

Abstract: 1 We have studied the effects of single oral doses of 80 mg propranolol and 100 mg atenolol on breathing during progressive exercise in nine healthy men in a double-blind, placebo-controlled experiment.
