The Effectiveness of STEAM-Based Augmented Reality Media in Improving the Quality of Natural Science Learning in Elementary School

Abstract: This study describes the effectiveness of STEAM-based augmented reality (AR) learning media in natural science learning in elementary schools. This research used an experimental method. Six schools were involved as the subjects of this research, which was consisted of 3 elementary schools for experimental classes (60 students) and three elementary schools for control classes (60 students). The teachers involved were the 6th grader teachers. The data collection technique used 30 multiple choices questions for t… Show more

In designing the ARBL learning materials, to design both the learning materials and the interactions is an important factor that will influence interaction [59] between students and learning materials. In the designing of learning materials, attention should be paid to whether the [60] contents are clear and understandable.…”

“…Students who used the applications acquired a better understanding of the concepts taught and performed better. Focusing on improving the quality of natural science learning in primary education, Atmojo et al (2021) looked into the adoption and integration of augmented reality in teaching and learning activities. The study involved 120 students (experimental group: 60 students and control group: 60 students).…”
