The Effectiveness of Open Distance Learning (Odl) Implementation During Pandemic of Covid-19

Abstract

Open and Distance Learning (ODL) is one of the most popular and convincing method of teaching during pandemic of Covid-19. This paper presents on the effectiveness of implementing ODL during the pandemic for postgraduate program MSc in Telecommunication and Information Engineering (EE700) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM), Malaysia. The Program Outcomes (POs) are measured and evaluated from 2014 until 2021 using the Outcome Based Education Tool (OBEET). The data is analysed and it is found that by implementing ODL as the main method of teaching during pandemic has increased the performance of Program Outcomes.
