This study cultivated students’ attitudes toward educational technology through the appraisal theory. To achieve this aim, data were collected from the written responses of the open-ended questionnaire written by 40 students majoring in English Language Education Department in one of state university in Bali taking Strategy and Learning Design Course. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively by following Martin White' s (2005) framework of appraisal theory. The findings revealed that the EFL students had a positive attitude toward the educational technology used in the classroom. It is evident from their positive reaction-appreciation and valuation-appreciation of the education technology. It is also apparent from their capacity-judgment about their capability and learning performance and their positive emotional reactions to educational technology. Another point highlighted is the connection between their attitude and principles of technology and pedagogy. The results suggest lecturers integrate educational technology with the educational principles for effective teaching.

“…Currently, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environments (MOODLE) are widely used in the practical application of blended learning in Taiwan's higher education, regardless of whether they are MOOCs or MOODLE, e-learning platforms, as a whole, function as a teaching aid for traditional in-person instruction and serve as an efficient aid for facilitating students' pre-class preparation, in-class use, and post-class review. With the excellent development of the Internet, mobile devices, and digital technology, various e-learning approaches flourish nowadays. The critical learning goal of financial education is the connection between financial theory and the actual market. However, Financial education was seldom discussed in the teaching innovation research; this research focuses on the learning achievements of e-Learning and Problem/Project-based learning in “Financial Statements Analysis and Business Valuation", the core course among most financial education fields. We believe that Blended Learning strategies can help students develop the ability and quality to adapt to financial market changes. As long as students can participate in this curriculum, they have significant learning progress in understanding professional curriculum theory and the analysis and application of the financial analysis report.

This study explores the impact of teaching strategies for blended learning, which combines mobile learning with traditional classes in financial curricula in Taiwan. The aim of this study is to address the challenges and opportunities of using digital technology in education, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the popularity of social media apps among young students. The study adopts mixed methodologies, including questionnaires and qualitative analysis, to examine whether integrating LINE@ and Zuvio apps into the blended learning strategy enhances students’ class engagement, learning experience, and overall achievement. The results show that the blended learning strategy significantly improves students’ learning outcomes, especially in elective courses. The qualitative analysis also reveals the strengths and weaknesses of using different mobile learning tools. It highlights a blended learning model, emphasizing the value of effective teacher-student interaction, and demonstrates that digital technology complements traditional face-to-face teaching. Teachers can give students more confidence in using these digital tools, thereby enhancing the quality of teaching. Furthermore, this study suggests the need for teachers to consider their students’ and courses’ characteristics and needs when implementing blended learning. The study contributes to the literature on blended learning and Finance education. It provides insights and suggestions for teachers and researchers who want to implement blended learning strategies in other disciplines and contexts.
