The Effect of Wall-Mounted Oscillating Fan on Energy Consumption in Built Environments

Abstract: Fans save energy when they complement a regular air-conditioning system and move air at an acceptable speed without compromising thermul comfort. They allow a higher set-point temperature, thus reducing AfC operating hours and saving electrical energy .The study presents derivation for the cornfort thermostat air temperature setting mbnction of air velocity for typical bed room conditions.
