This study investigated primary mathematics teachers’ technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK) and attitudes towards information and communication technology (ICT) integration in mainland China during the post-pandemic period. Quantitative data were collected through a web-based self-determined questionnaire. Statistical analysis was performed using independent sample t-tests, and Mann-Whitney U tests to assess gender and teaching experience in years. Spearman’s correlation test also examined the relationship between TPACK and teachers’ attitudes towards ICT integration. The findings revealed that most mathematics teachers had adequate non-technology-related knowledge but lacked technology-related knowledge. However, they were willing to incorporate digital technologies in their teaching after experiencing large-scale online teaching. There was no significant gender or teaching grade differences in TPACK, but teaching experience positively correlated with TPACK. The study emphasizes the importance of assessing teachers’ practical circumstances before introducing TPACK development programs. Finally, the implications for teachers, educators, and policymakers were discussed at the end of this paper.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to transform the way we teach and learn. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the application of AI in education, with a range of initiatives and products emerging in the market. This review article provides an overview of the literature on the use of AI in education, focusing on the following areas: personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, natural language processing, gamification, and ethics.The article begins by discussing personalized learning with AI, highlighting the potential benefits of using AI to tailor learning experiences to individual students' needs and preferences. The article then explores intelligent tutoring systems, which use AI to provide students with personalized feedback and support. The use of natural language processing in education is also discussed, including the potential for AI to facilitate language learning and communication skills. The article then examines gamification and AI, discussing how gamification can be used to increase student engagement and motivation, and how AI can enhance the effectiveness of gamified learning environments. The ethical considerations of using AI in education are also discussed, including issues around privacy, bias, and transparency. the article concludes by summarizing the current trends and future directions in the use of AI in education. The potential of AI to revolutionize education is significant, but there are also challenges to be addressed. The review article highlights the need for further research to fully understand the potential of AI in education and to ensure that its use is ethical and effective. Overall, the review article suggests that AI has enormous potential to transform the future of education and highlights some of the key areas where AI is likely to have the most impact.

This paper aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis and a comprehensive overview of publications on ChatGPT in educational research. This research also aimed to present the bibliometric results to interpret the research patterns and themes of the application of ChatGPT in educational research. The researchers used the VOSviewer program to conduct a bibliometric analysis and identify research patterns and topics in publications indexed in the Scopus database. For this purpose, the researchers used the Scopus database to find related publications. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, they found 82 publications and analyzed them using the bibliometric method. This study showed that researchers from 42 countries examined various topics, including academic writing, artificial intelligence’s (AI) potential, and benefits, using ChatGPT in research, exploring best practices, and reviewing AI. The keyword analysis results showed that five clusters emerged from the current studies on ChatGPT in education research. These results showed that researchers focused on understanding the use of ChatGPT in medical and nursing education, generative AI’s ethical dimensions, the effects of ChatGPT on educational outcomes, large language models and medical education, and ChatGPT and AI. In general, the use of ChatGPT in educational contexts and research is frequently discussed in the publications analyzed in this study. In addition, medical and nursing education was the most studied of the many research studies. Based on the obtained results, recommendations for further studies are drawn.
