The Effect of the 2 nd Generation Clusters: Changes in the Parallel Programming Paradigms

Abstract: Abstract. Programming paradigms for networks of symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) workstation (2 nd generation of clusters) are discussed and a new paradigm is introduced.
