Abstract:Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease (AHPND) or Early Mortality Syndrome (EMS) is a bacterial disease in shrimps caused by pathogen Vibrio parahaemolyticus. It has culminated in huge loss in global shrimp production due to mass mortality.
