The Effect of Sodium Butyrate on Radiosensitivity in Glioblastoma Cell

Abstract: Glioblastoma (GB), oldukça agresif ve malign bir beyin tümörüdür. GB, Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (DSÖ) tarafından Evre IV astrositom olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Tüm primer beyin tümörlerinin %30' unu oluşturan GB (1), her yaşta görülebilmesiyle birlikte genellikle 55-60 yaş aralığındaki erişkinlerde görülmektedir (2).
