Abstract. This study has investigated the relationship among school culture, teachers' job satisfaction, and school effectiveness. It also explored the mediating effect of teachers' job satisfaction on school culture and school effectiveness. Participants of the study include1, 297 teachers from 6 lower secondary and upper secondary schools in Beijing, China. Quantitative methods were used for data generation, consisting of 3 questionnaire-based surveys to measure, separately, school culture, school effectiveness, and job satisfaction from the teachers' perspective. The results indicated positively significant relationships among school culture, teachers' job satisfaction, and school effectiveness and that teachers' job satisfaction partially mediated the impact of school culture on school effectiveness. In light of these results, limitations and directions for future research are provided, as well as implications for education.

Abstract:In order to comprehensively evaluate the employee satisfaction of mine occupational health and safety management system, an analytic method based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and 2-tuple linguistic model was established. Based on the establishment of 5 first-grade indicators and 20 second-grade ones, method of improved AHP and the time-ordered Weighted Averaging Operator (T-OWA) model is constructed. The results demonstrate that the employee satisfaction of the mine occupational health and safety management system is of the 'general' rank. The method including the evaluation of employee satisfaction and the quantitative analysis of language evaluation information ensures the authenticity of the language evaluation information.

El estudio es analítico de corte transversal. La población la constituyen 150 docentes de una institución superior pública. La recolección de información fue por medio de encuesta sociodemográfica y el instrumento Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó el programa SPSS versión 20®, aplicando las pruebas no paramétricas U de Mann-Whitney y Kruskall Wallis para estimar asociaciones entre variables. Los resultados muestran que la realización personal y los síntomas de estrés se encuentran asociados al género. Los dos fueron más altos en el género femenino. Los docentes que cuentan con solo pregrado y con menor antigüedad reportan mayores puntajes en agotamiento emocional. Se concluye que el agotamiento emocional varía significativamente según área de desempeño de los profesores. The study is analytical of cross-sectional type. The population consists of 150 teachers from a public higher education institution. The data collection was done by means of a sociodemographic survey and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). For the statistical analysis, the SPSS version 20® program was used, applying the non-parametric U tests of Mann-Whitney and Kruskall Wallis to estimate associations between variables. The results show that personal fulfillment and stress symptoms are associated with gender. Both were higher for the female gender. Teachers with only undergraduate and lower seniors report higher scores on emotional stress. It is concluded that emotional stress varies significantly according to performance area of the teachers.
